I just gotta say this about the Batwing! 12 Months ago
Based strictly on my own personal experience!. IT FREAKING ROCKS!. I wish I would have switched to this so long ago!. It is night and day difference better for me than my stock windshield which did nothing but buffet my head even with lowers and not to mention really created a NOTICEABLE drag on the bike. The batwing rips through the wind that I have several times now found myself 80MPH + and my bike just purrs along without a care in the world.

Thanks again to REV who made me a set of his brackets, For which if it weren't for that it would have been a LOT longer for me to have gotten either the Reckless or the MS batwing.

I wanted a quick removable setup and got exactly that. 2 bolts on either side where my windshield bolted and the Batwing lifts right off.

Anyone on the fence about going with the Batwing. You won't be disappointed!

P.S. It think it looks 100x better IMHO as well!.

Now you need to get rid of those funky mirrors. It would look even better with aftermarket ones (IMO).

I was used to riding without one, bot planned to do some touring and figured it'd be the *smart* thing to do. So I got the MS batwing since I could easily take it on and off. I figured I'd only use it on long rides. I ended up keeping it on most of the winter, because it made riding in the cold a bit more tolerable. Now though, I've gotten so used to it, I don't like riding without it. The difference is truly noticeable. Well worth it. Now I only wish I'd gone with the Reckless in the first place.

That's exactly what I did. Bought it to ride 400 miles to bike week. Ended up doing 2k miles that week and never rode without the fairing again. How I also ended up with the reckless, wanted better audio and looks over the ms.

On a second note, doc_v, did you ever see that post I put up a while back with the ms and reckless side by side?
