Re:My Project 12 Months ago
Getting a little snow every now and then, luckily now it's mostly rain. I had a friend of mine tell me the same thing about the HD, my answer back was "but it's not an HD". I love and hate chinese jigsaw puzzles (working on something after someone else played with it) but I love getting to know my bike, now for the more riding and less working.

Re:My Project 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago
So 350 miles on the bike. Been noticing pops/backfiring on decel, and seemed to idle irratically. Since I do not know what kind of jetting it has, I decided today to pull the tank and carb and take a look. Well I still have the brass plug covering the PMS, so I am guessing that the carb has not been touched. I also found the vacuum plug covering the intake port was cracked and so is the intake. I have not yet done a leak test on the intake, have to have the bike running for tomorrow so I can take it for tires, but none of them seem to go completely through yet. Replaced the plug and it fired up and seems to sound better, but that could just be my imagination, will find out tomorrow. Here's a pic of the intake. Guess I will be looking for an intake and jet kit.
