Side Car mounting 12 Months ago
Ok since I have to work on the bike anyway, I'm gonna take the side car off the goldwing and get rid of the wiring nightmare it is turning out to be. I think the R* will pull the sidecar better than this old wing is doin. So my ? Is where do you fellas that have cars have them mounted on the R* ?

One clamp mount on upper part of upright tube

One clamp mount on bottom frame down by floorboard

One clamp mount on bottom frame towards swingarm end

One mount drilled through lower part of seat horn

Thats for a Motorvation Spyder sidecar

Best suggestion I would give is contact whoever makes the sidecar you have to see what mount system they have. I would also recomment putting a set of raked trees on. I just recently put on the champion 6 degree trees they sell for their trike kits. Makes a world of difference in handling.

Thank you very much! I can't find any markings for identification of the maker of the sidecar so I think I'm kinda on my own

It may take me a few days to get a pic up. I'll get a photo bucket started and put a link up soon. Thanks for the help

Just found out the wife had a photobucket already. Not great pics and hopefully the link works though. There is some other pics but a few of the sidecar are there.

If I were to put that sidecar on a Roadie, I'd go ahead and do an Indian fender look on the bike.

I believe that is it! Thanks a lot USAF!
Fireman that may be a great idea. I might just kick that around. This R* will end up bein the wifes once I get the car on it. I got the ok to go buy me somethin else to play with after the car is mounted on the R*. I'll probably hunt me up another R* though

Re:Side Car mounting 12 Months ago
So after reading on the mounting system offered for this car I find out I'm glad the wife and I haven't riden very far with this. Not only did the idiots that worked on this bike screw up the wiring they also left 1 of the stabilizing bars out during install! Not like that would be useful or anything... Glad the price was right on this setup.
Anyway thnx for sending me the right way USAF,imo you most likely saved me and my wife some pain and suffering.
