Dyna-beads are pretty easy to find, just google them. They are the best way to balance a tire, unless you use ride on or tire slime, then they won't work.
One more thing no one has mentioned about the CT vs MC tire, you can PLUG it if you get a nail. To me that's important because so many MC tires have been tossed because of a nail.
Pluggung is a big benefit BUT using the spoke wheels and tubes eliminates that option. Reckon my next add on if I can talk the wife into it is some cast wheels. But I like the old school look of the spokes. decisions decisions. Race parts or Bike parts, The doesnt like me spending money on either. Mainly the racing but as long as my son enjoys it its ok.
Again thanks everyone for the input and helpful replies. Your all great!!!
Well then seal your spoked rims and go tubeless.. Some members on here have and thats what im going to do as soon as I replace my ct.
What car tire are you running?
Its a B'stone Potenza 185/55/16. It handles outrageously great and I love the way it rides. Only complaint is that its slightly smaller diam than oem which makes it feel like I changed to a smaller front pulley. Its a rocket around town, but I like the higher gearing for cruising at lower rpm
. Plus I lost about 3 mpg. But its an excellent tire for someone that mostly rides around town racing from light to light.
"Yax" runs a B'stone Turanza?or something like that...it starts w/a "T", thats talle
r and he likes it. My potenza was the only ct I could find a day before I was leaving for daytona but I found guys using it on the DS site so I tried it. Its a great tire...just a tad too short.
