All I run is Kenda Kruz, front and rear, love the price and quality!
Thanks boatmark...have u wore a set out yet? Mileage?
I think around 8 on the back and 12 grand on the front. That's just a guesstimate 'cause I don't record mileage when I swap them out. But for the price, a little over a hunnert bucks for the rear, and 70 for the front, I think they are a helluva deal! High speed rated as well.

Commander 2 77 is 908 load and Kenda Kruz 75 is 853, 55lbs difference, maybe try them next time, BUT, I wanted a 160 rear and couldn't find it from Michelin, would be nice if all tire company's would make more sizes.

I suppose that it would do no good to tell you size doesen't matter?

I, myself could not give a squat how wide a tire is, as long as there is enough there for a full lean, and ample carrying capacity, that's good enough for me. I have a 140/90-16 that is 77H rated on my '03 right now, and I still can't use the whole width of the rear tire. Tire I can't get on the ground is just more unsprung weight and rotating mass to eat up my suspension and torque!

I have been very happy with the Avon Venom AM42 in 160/80B16 with a load rating of 81H which is 1019lbs They are spendy but it sure looks and feels good

I had a new kenda kruz put on when I bought my bike. After 3k the rear just felt like it was tracking funny. Had it checked and it was balanced, pressurized and mounted right, but the treads felt squirrely, especially at high speeds. I replaced it with a Dunlop and the problem went away. My dealer never really badmouthed the kenda, he just said it was not the best choice for our large bikes.
