today is the day one year ago!!!! 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago

Exactly one year ago today at approximately 11:05 am I pulled out of the dealer with my brand new 2009 Road Star S (hell yeah). It was like leaving the hospital with a newborn, just full of excitement. It was one of the best days I have had, after not riding for 20 years while focusing on my kids I was back in the saddle again. Well after one year and two of the months I was in Mexico not riding I have accumulated 14,000 in ten months. Over this past year I have done the following few mods to my Stallion/ Beast along with the regular maintenance and up keep.
- Fatty bars
- Highway pegs
- Backrest
- XxX big air kit
- Cobra Speedster Shorts
- Fuel processor
- AIS block off kit

Ten years ago when I saw my first R/S I said when I get a bike it will be a R/S, I fell in love with them from the moment I saw one, it was like we were meant to be together. When we are together it is like we are ONE, and my beast loves to be ridden. At idle it just purrs like a big cat relaxing and at the smallest twist of the throttle the beast is up and on the hunt. My bike is an amazing bike as most R/S’s are and is just like my bulldog, excited about the attention it gets from me. Anyway getting ready to give my baby a bath and good polishing.

20 yrs is a long time not to ride that's for sure. Thanks for sharing with us.

Been around 2 1/2 years with mine and she was used but just seems to fit me perfectly love my Roadie,Congrats to you and your bike may you enjoy many more miles together
