They also give you quite a bit of clearance for bags, much more than the stock pipes. I have the Kuryakyn grantour bags and there is plenty of clearance. That would be a good option. I have a feeling that with my Progressive suspension this won't be an issue anymore, because the stock shock used to sag too much. Mine had some build quality issues but from what I read that's not the norm. From a sound perspective alone, you would not be disappointed in the Hardkrome. I don't always like how the sound comes out from the side instead of the back, although its great for letting cars on your left know that you're there. But the noise these things make is awesome. Deep, throaty, and rumbly, and they're getting better with age.
