Ironman, sounds like your valves are set too tight, if your oil is that light and it is harsh. Did you do the install? Is the damper rod drilled out correctly?
thought about that also. The kit came w/ 2 sets of valve springs. The lighter set was installed at the factory. I drilled out the rods myself. I had the dealer replace the seals & they said for $30.00 they'd put everything back together. I've known these guys for 30+ years. They are a RaceTech dealer/installer.
Again, the 1st ride was amazing, way better than stock. The initial movement is very good, but the fork gets alittle harsh on a sharp/ square edge bump. Temperary hydraulic lock ?. Maybe I'm trying to split hairs, but I've got it this far, maybe I can get the last 3%-4% dialed in.
With all my years of racing MX, I was always amazed how much better MX forks work than stock street forks

Did you set the static sag at a "s treet worthy" value? Around 40% of available travel?

I hear what you're saying about the roads! I'm assuming you are in the .9-1.0 KG-MM range on the springs?

Based on what you want, maybe you should pull about 10CC of fluid off each leg and try it with a little more air cushion?

I'm running 1.1kg/mm springs
Thanks for the tip. Think I'll try removing alittle oil
