We had alot of barely crawling and I could hear my oil as everyone else's screaming for relief. Especially the guy that bought a brand new HD and didn't break it in before a multi state ride. That motor was toast before it saw a 1000 miles. They are made for Harleys but I'm sure it could be modified. My dad has one on his ultra classic trike and that thing moves tons of air, it sounds like a jet engine when running but that just means you need louder pipes to drown it out. Generally the R* don't need one but found a good deal on one with a oil temp guage on top. Thought we'd make it to the track early enough but guess not. Got caught out on 16th St. for over an hour. Bike kept quitting on me just before I got to to gate 2. Nursed it in and parked it. On ride home to Michigan discovered clutch was slipping in higher gears which it never did before. Just installed yesterday the Barnett clutch spring conversion which cured that.
