got the nightstar out for a decent ride... 380 miles round trip to lake george, ny.. the bike ran great the whole time.. but the shout-out goes to e.d. seats... i was snug and comfy the whole time.. i would have never made it with the old seat.. averaged 51mpg on the highway and we were moving pretty fast.. the roadstar is a great cruiser !!

What day where you up at Lake George?
I went through it last night around 7:30.
Was doing a 300+ ride through the Adirondacks.
Interesting what you said about the seat.
There where 5 of us riding yesterday, 3 with custom seats and 2 with stock seats.
The two with stock seats started complaining about sore butts after a couple hundred miles. The rest of us didn't have any comfort problems. I'm running the PCS potato chip seat and have rode to Fl. and back with no problems.
The stock seats where on a Kaw. and a Star Raider.

I lived on Lake George during '74-'75. What an awesome part of the country !
I've been wanting to go back ever since...maybe one day.

That's because they where out riding
I've been seeing more Road Stars around this year then in the past. We rode up to Sporty's Iron Duke Saloon about 5 weeks ago and there where 3 Roadies in the parking lot when we got there.

Yup, that's what I was doing. Friday was the day we left Lake George, took route 4 past Rutland Vermont, north on the 100 and west on 125 through the Green Mountains. Ended up taking the ferry across Lake Champlain and then south again on 9N. Great ride.

I did see a few Roadies around town throughout the week and a couple of different Strats too.
