Pipes question 1 Year ago
Has anyone tried these? How is the quality, performance, etc? And do I need to make any other mods on an otherwise stock machine at sea level?

Thanks

Shouldn't have to re-jet but maybe tweak the PMS a little.

And remove the AIS.
There is one option that I got from my old wrench for what he did with a pipe only change. He added 1 washer to the stock needle on the carb and a 1/4 turn out on the pilot screw (richer)

I have had the 3 inch Roadburners for 2 1/2 years and they have not blued yet. Seems to be a good set of pipes. The only thing I didn't like was they don't mount level with the bike as you can see in the picture on ebay. I made a different rear bracket so that they were level with the lower part of the frame.

Sorry if this is a thread jack.
Stick,

You read my mind. I love the pipes so far. Great sound , good quality BUT the up-sweep SUCKS! I was looking at changing the rear bracket. How did you make the bracket ? It's look' s like the pipes don't have any room to move or rotate forward (or down) at the sweeps. Looks like they will hit rear brake assemble etc..

Man this has bugged me everyday!

James
