Selling my Silverado Winshield set up 4 Years, 6 Months ago  
Well, I give up on the whole windshield thing...

Anyway, I want to sell the whole setup.

I have the Medium Silverado Windshield STR-5GA07-10-00

and the bike mounting hardware STR-4WM03-40-00

I'm not sure what to ask for these parts. I went to the Star site and got a bit confused. A replacement windshield was $182 but my model number was $353? I take it the mounts on the back of the windshield do not come with the replacment ones and that is the reason for the cost difference??

The mounting brackets that mount to the bike were $107...that seemed straight forward.

So would $400.00 shipped for it all seem fair? I used this about three times over the Summer but just could not get the wind noise down. I like the bike better without the windshield anyway so I figured I tried to sell this. No scratches in the shield and only on the brackets where bolts were tightened to bike behind bolts (expected).

Thanks...tell him I'll do the whole setup for $300 shipped UPS ground.

BTW I just checked at R* Riders man they are really giving you a hard time! $300 shipped for like new shield and mounts IS a good deal. I broke my left mount and paid $50 for ONE used mount!

I`m just surprized you have wind noise!I ride with ear plugs most of the time,to keep the wind out more than any noise.Guess I`m just gettin old,but got tired of being beat up at the 70 to 90 mph we travel at most of the time,plus bugs taste like crap.$300 shipped would be a fair price.I bought mine used and in good shape for $150.
