From the looks of the parts breakdown it doesn't look possible. I don't think I would want to try and improve on it.

Not much of a manifold there to port. Thanks for looking Curt.

Looks like the injectors blow the fuel right into the head ports. Can't do much to improve on that ecept a head job.

I want to know is if the gaskets #20 will fit a carbed model manifold? Tried to buy some at a local dealer and they couldn't get them until the end of the month so I canceled the order. I needed them sooner and wasn't gonna wait just to see if they could be used. But now I think I may have a cracked manifold I may have ported it to thin. I have a intermittent leak at an idle on the front runner and am having one hell of a time pinpointing the leak.

No the gaskets for a FI won't work because the ports are different the FI has a flat part at the bottom.

Sounds like I may have to do a little research. I've never really looked at how the manifold and throttle body are set up. Only had the R* 3 months and been mostly interested in just riding it. I can't be the only one trying to get a little more power though.

I found the pt # for a ported intake for the FI models The # is SPD-5VNO9-74-10. I found it at Preferred Powersports but it is $275 they list for $366.
