Life is good 11 Months ago
I woke up this morning and decided that it was to pretty a day to waste in the office.
So after running a few errands, Ioaded some new tunes onto my Ipod;
Made sure that my Ipad was fully charged; got my backpack ready, full of water and other essentials (Hell, I have to get some hard bags installed).
Then I got on my bike and did a long ride up to the NC mountains. I rode from Charlotte, to Asheville.
The day was beautiful--in the low 80's and no rain.
My bike loves 70 MPH but is passionate about 80+ MPH.
The stereo in the fairing worked very well. At 80+ MPH, I was singing my heart out.
I came home, called ol' girl over.
We put a few rib eye steaks on the grill.
We enjoyed a 1/2 bottle of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel.
Put her to sleep.
Lit up a La Gloria Cubano, while sitting on my porch and enjoying this Southern night.

Damn right, it was a good day!!!

re: Life is Good

you have it all figured out

NC mountains, Roadies stretched out at 80 mph, Girlfriends, Jack Daniels, Ribeyes and polish it off with a good stogie

I am green with envy

Sounds like a damn fine day. Bravo sir. Well done. ...Gotta ask though, what kind of stereo system do you have.

Jason, you're not gonna believe this but what worked for me to solve the wobble was to change all of the bolts. I threw in hex screws and got them all nice and tight. The wobble effect has been solved. I'm not saying that it doesn't shake a bit from time to time, heck it's plastic and at 80 + MPH or when a truck passes by, it shakes a bit but not the wobble that I was feeling.

And, the Sportech audio is great. So, there's no need for me to change it out as I was planning on.

What's M&G?

Hey Doc, I have the Sportech audio system and fairing. The two speakers are connected via a 50watt amp. And then I connect my ipod to it all. I was complaining earlier because there didn't seem to be any power and one of the speakers wasn't working. Sportech replaced the entire system and it's now badass.

But if I had a chance to do it all over again, I would have went with a Reckless fairing and Ipod stereo.
