BlackRoadie,

I know people here have run the 777, but I cannot remember if it is 71H or 77H weight rating. I remember most likeing it. Might do a quick search of the clinic.

I was curious about the shinko's and kendas...but Im gonna stick with my Metz. I need a few more years of feedback on
the others. Great price on the Metz's ...40 bucks cheaper than Im getting them now!

I went to the Michelin Commander II's both front and rear this season.....so far I really like them a lot. They are every bit as sticky as the Metz's and are supposed to last twice as long. If I can get 2 seasons out a a rear tire I will be very happy.

I put a set of the Kenda Tires on my boy's V-Star 1100, about 6 months ago, can't even see any wear yet and he is pretty much a daily rider, If they had WWW I would have them on my R*, as for the Shinko 777, good luck if you want WWW, pretty much on B/O everywhere. Motorcycle Superstore so far has been the best deal, Fast, Low Prices and Free Shipping, can't beat them!

If I can get 12K out of the Commander II, which is what I am getting out of the old Commander, I'll still be satisfied. Very pleased with that tire, front and rear.

Make sure you get the 77H on the rear. Durability and handling are much better, regardless of brand.

Jake Wilson ships pretty quick too. They don't have the extensive inventory of DK or JP Cycles, but so far I have been happy with my business with them.

Got the best price on the Metz I bought for the front from www.ronayers.com. Lower price than anyone else & great service. Check 'em out.
