I posted yesterday that I had recently purchased a 06 Roadstar Silverado 1700 and the clutch was slipping in the higher gears i think i'm going to go ahead and have it redone but not sure how much to do? Should I go ahead and do both plates and springs or just springs ?

I had the same problem with my 1600 took it to my mechanic and he put in new oem plates as they didnt look great when i saw them
and a Barnett clutch conversion kit . No slippage now the spring is alot better then Yamahas the clutch is a bit harder to pull in but not much and i got used to it it after a couple of rides .
