Amsoil site says you can double mfg's rec oil change schd when running thier MCV 20-50 ooil for bikes so yami rec's 4k oil & filter change so 8k miles max is the rec.

Most guys running Amsoil in thier R*'s change it anywhere from 5k miles to as high as 8k miles.

I run mobil-1 full syn 20-50 v-twin oil and change oil & filter at 6k miles max or 1yr,which ever comes 1st.

I contacted Mobil-1 oil tech srvc and they said 6k miles max before changing thier oil.

I run the mobil-1 v-twin oil because its esier to find locally then the amsoil but i may mail order the Amsoil for next oil change to see how it performs & or how my 06 silverado's motor likes it.

I know you guys are going to laugh but I have only done one oil change by myself, my mechanic makes it hard to want to do on your own with a price of $59.00 and thats with Amsoil.
