+1 on the jacket. When I lived in Wyoming I always carried a jacket with me, regardless of season- you'll need it. I once got snowed on in the high country on the 4th of July. On my July trip thru CO & WY mtns last year the mornings were low 30's afternoons in the high 90's. The prevalence of big game on the roadways is no joke as I came very close to hitting a moose on Togwotee Pass. It can be downright hyponotic to ride in the early evening with intermitent sun flashing through the trees on winding roads, and that's when the animals are moving. I prefer yellow-lens glasses in the forest, since they provide glare relief and better light for the eyes. Stay hydrated and alert. You'll have a great time.

If you normally wear biker boots, bring some sneakers, if you break down or run out of gas, you might have to walk a bit, and biker boots are not made for walking.
