So clear you wont belive it! 11 Months ago
Hey all, Iam kind of a " prove it to me " kind of guy when I hear someone make a claim that a product
works way better than you think it will.Except when you guys say it. Invisable Glass- is GREAT!!
I have a windshield on my 04R* that has seen more than its fair share of bugs, dust, ect. ect. Get the spray bott. and some micro-fiber towels, follow the directions!! Do it three times in a row, get it dry
each time. After the third time the windshield went CLEAR!! It could have not been any better the day
it was put on! I was amazed, no kidding.A pack of 5 towels and a spray bott. at wal-mart is under $10.00. Cant wait to try it on my truck windows. Thanks guys, I love this site!!

Hey guys, not trying to start an argument but Mark7 posted in another thread that Invisible Glass is not recommended for plastic windshields.

When I got my shield from lrs there was a paper attached that said "if it hurts your nose, it'll hurt your shield." So I've kinda kept with that. But hey, whatever works, right?

Just went out and read the entire label to see if it said anything about not using it on plastic. It did say one way or the other? If anyone knows more about this please post something. So far so good with
my windshield,I will try and go to the makers website and see what they say. Thanks

I got my first experience with Invisible Glass on aircraft glass windshields. There is a very tedious process to appllying what is essentially "Rain-X" to heated aircraft windshields. There is a periodic inspection of the coating on some aircraft, and it's a "no-fly" item to completely fail the check on some charter aircraft. I had a customer that had been coming in for 3 years, and we had never re-done his windshield, because it always passed the check. I asked if he did anything special to get the coating to last so long, and he clued me in to the Invisible Glass. Used it to deep clean my truck windshield, and it sheds water like nobody's business! Works about as well as Rain-X, but does not stink or streak up the windshield like Rain-X can if you are not well skilled at the application. As far as it stripping off hard coat on Polycarbonate shields, I have not tried it, but clean, it does!

It works so good I cant help my self I was just trying to pass on some info from someone else. (Mark7) I think I will try the Invisible Glass on my 4 wheeled vehicles but for the R* I will stay with the windshield manufacturers recommendation.
