Please recommend inner tubes and rim strips 12 Months ago
I have always used what the shop had in stock but I want to order a recommended set of inner tubes for my 03 Roadie as I have had two problems with my current inner tubes.

Please recommend a brand and the sizing (if you know it) for front a rear. If you can provide a link to a resource to purchase online, I would be most appreciative!

Thanks.

B.

I can't tell you size for the R* but I always used Metzler tubes in my Shadow. Only problem I ever had was when I ran over a nail. Can't really remember what I used for rim strips. I think I just used OEM because I couldn't find anything else that fit. I really like my cast rims on the R*. No tubes for me.

I've always ran these, front and back. If your rim strips are not cracking or damaged, I will let them ride. I have never had a blister or bond failure with these tubes in nearly 100,000 miles of usage on 3 different bikes.
