Just checking 4 Years, 6 Months ago
Work has been hectic the last few weeks. No riding or posting time. I did take a vacation day this past Friday and rode to Dothan Alabama for the Peanut festival. On Saturday a bunch road down to Panama City. First time I have ridden that far on the interstate. Roadie performed like a champ. Road with mostly HD Ultra's and I got to rib them about gas mileage some... Bike averaged 48 mpg. We had to stop every 100 miles for them to fill up. They were 2 galloning me to death.

I did have one minor issue, the carb puked once after we arrived in Dothan after sitting for about 30 minutes while I was checking in the motel, glad I put the extra drain hose on earlier this year. All and all a good trip, little over 900 miles, got to party with friends great riding, now back to work..

I hope everone is getting ready for the up coming holidays. God bless and safe riding.

Is there still a good Cajun place in the circle (square?) of Dothan? Glad you enjoyed yourself Jreed. I took a trip out to Colorado bout a month & half ago , one of the guys was on a Valkyrie. He was getting like 20 MPG, while the rest of us were like 42 MPG, so I feel your pain about stopping every half a tank! BB

Yea there were plenty of Red Lights, but I am use to it we have alot in Dalton as well. I have to say I rather ride in the North Georgia Moutains. I guess I am truely blessed to live in this area. It was different riding down south all flat land.

Glad you had a good trip Jreed. The RoadStar is a sweet ride on the highway. On the carb puke, did you turn the petcock off when you stopped? That seems to help on mine in warm or hot weather.
