Dumped the bike today 11 Months ago

Comming into my driveway from the road

No damage at all, just one of those WTF moments that seem to happen to me now and then.

I was comming home to pick up my cell phone and go out for a good ride and as I was slowing and turning for the sharp right turn into the driveway, I felt a sharp jab into my upper left leg thigh which I knew was a @#%$&*! bee

I was moving real slow as I have a gravel driveway and the top few feet are pretty heavy with road sand and I had my right foot down to balance as I stopped. I touched the front brake

BIG MISTAKE and the bike went over as I stepped off

The friggin bee was still stuck to my leg and as I tried to swat it it flew ayay

So, Now I have 800 and somthing pounds of bike on it's side and I try to get it back up but I can't get traction due to the gravel. So I go down to the house and get my wife to give me a hand and with a little extra help we get it back up. She didn't say a word to me but I got the dreaded "Look" from her

I got the stinger out, Got my cell phone and proceeded with a great ride.

I have been getting stung at least once a year lately

and it's starting to get old

That sucks man but if it has to go down it better that way than at 70 mph. Usually a better out come that way.

I agree with Curt; it was 9 days ago that I went down at close to 60. But God has more yet for me to do, 'cause I came out of it amazingly well.

Glad you and the bike came out ok and you still got that ride in,dumped mine at the end of my driveway also bunch of sand by the road and it happened quick that was fun getting it back up but didn't want to wake the wife
