If you work out in that stuff (I do) I reccomend getting a mesh jacket or a denim long sleeve shirt (seriously here!) and soaking it, just sopping wet right before you get on. The evaporative cooling is awesome! The hotter it is, the shorter it lasts, but I'll take a bottle of water (or 2) with me, and since I generally have some lights (about 20 minutes worth) to work my way through before I get to the highway, I'll stop short of the highway and re-soak with the bottles. Sure, ya gotta put the phone and wallet away, but it's a bit of a treat when it's that hot to be truly COOL when riding your bike. As hot as it is overnight, especically in a concrete county like Dallas, you can do it at night and try it out, in case ya think you might look stupid doing it! I say, if you think I look stupid doing it, so be it, but I'M HARD CORE!
