Coming from Deals Gap to NE Ohio I went up 129 40 to I 75N I just passed a sign that said 114 degrees. Everything is running ok, but how much heat can this bike swallow? Man this is hot.

We had 106 here a couple of days ago. I think I was as hot as the engine.

My patio thermometer showed 127* yesterday. I have pictures of it I will post.

Don't know, but it makes you wonder. I ride the I-75 stretch between 275 and 675 every day, so let me know how it is when you go through it. The bike has stayed at home the last 2 days, and the A/C in the car has never felt better.

It was 101 here yesterday and I think I caught every light in a 10mi stretch of road, about a dozen. Guy pulls up next to me, rolls his window down and says "Bet you wish you had some AC" to which I responded with a smile "Bet you wish you weren't driving a minivan" Just keep telling yourself it's not the heat, it's the humidity.

I'm visiting a place called Red Bay Alabama for a wedding and it is supposed to 106 tomorrow, it was hotter then that today.

At work today , and I have a thermometer on top of my tool box, and it was reading 125f, and that is in the shop. I work in it for 10-12 hours a day. Not much fun!! So when I get on the bike when it's time to go home, I'm just happy to finally get a breeze. And the bike seems to do just fine.

If you work out in that stuff (I do) I reccomend getting a mesh jacket or a denim long sleeve shirt (seriously here!) and soaking it, just sopping wet right before you get on. The evaporative cooling is awesome! The hotter it is, the shorter it lasts, but I'll take a bottle of water (or 2) with me, and since I generally have some lights (about 20 minutes worth) to work my way through before I get to the highway, I'll stop short of the highway and re-soak with the bottles. Sure, ya gotta put the phone and wallet away, but it's a bit of a treat when it's that hot to be truly COOL when riding your bike. As hot as it is overnight, especically in a concrete county like Dallas, you can do it at night and try it out, in case ya think you might look stupid doing it! I say, if you think I look stupid doing it, so be it, but I'M HARD CORE!
