Son just gave me his Big Leather Bags 10 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Son called a while ago and said he bought Hard Bags for his 2011 Harley Roadking, and gave me his Big Leather Bags off his bike. Now I need to fabricate new mounts, unless anyone knows where I can buy them....? Anybody?

those bags would look terrible on your bike & your too far away from my shop to fab brackets, so just send them to me & I'll figure out what to do w/ them I don't think it would be that hard to modify your brackets to support those bags. Do you have access to a mig welder ? Do the Road King bags mount behind & under like our bags ? I'm interested because I'm thinking about about doing this mod over the winter

Here is a link to some pics of some nice homemade ones. http://roguerider.com/cgi-bin/imcart/display.cgi?cat=1 If you click the pics again after you get them in the top window it will open them bigger in a new window so you can see what he has done. If you loose the other window make sure its not hid behind your browser.

Ironman, They use a quick release pin system that holds the backs, and yes they sit on pins for the unders. I have access to pretty much all different welders and I am 100% sure that if my Brother can't design and build it, it can't be done...I didn't know if anyone else had done it previously, but I guee I know now. Good Luck with yours and we will be waiting for some pics.

Redcam, I looked at your bike with the bags, while they are probably the exact same bags that he gave me, they look bigger than yours for some reason, (probably just in my head, a lot of things go on in there before I am informed about it) but man they look HOT when mounted as your bike has shown! Thanks for the Links.
