Looks like it would work. The only knock I can see is the mileage on the rear tire.

You would still be spinning your middle drive by dragging it on the back wheel. Like mentioned in another post today, I'd just rent a U-Haul.

To me it looks ideal to have for emergency breakdowns if you don't own a pickup truck or trailer. I don't think I would use it for long distance towing. A problem I see it that everything your car kicks up is heading straight for the bike. No protection at all. For a distance like you're talking about a trailer is the only way to go IMO.

No way I would use one of those. If you can't ride it, get a trailer or just leave it at home. That is only about 750 miles. Ride it.

That works unless you are bringing the Wife, Kids and/or Grandkids, pets, etc.
Somehow the necessary stuff multiplies geometrically with the number of people traveling.

We had something like that back in the '70s. It actually attached to the rear bumper like the old U-Haul bumper tow ball.
My dad used to tow his old Honda 175 to the beach while I rode my 350. We actually had to lift the front tire into the bracket.
But since the bike only weighed a couple of hundred pounds and it was only a couple of hundred miles . . .

Yea I don't think I'd use it either. Just thinking of all that will spin in neutral makes me cringe... U-Hauls aren't that expensive.
