Right hand getting numb 10 Months, 1 Week ago
I've noticed my right hand getting numb - even on short 30 minute rides. Trying not to hold throttle tightly or lean on the bar. Left hand does not get same feeling.

Wondering if I need new grips? I have stock bars with rubber mounts.

Any suggestions? Anyone else get this? Am I just getting old?

How's your shoulders and neck? Are you right handed? Is it from the wrist out, or do you get forearm burn as well? And last but not least, what do you do for a living?

I had that problem with the stock grips. I got the Kury ISO grips and a set of right and left large Kury Throttle Bosses and no problems now. You can lay your fingers on the levers and still maintain the throttle and not get craps. Make sure you get the right and left Throttle Bosses. These guys have the best prices and when you e-mail them tell Glen that Curt sent you. Just tell him what you want and they will fix you up.

Sounds like carpel tunnel Syndrome. Not sure if its spelled right. I have that iussues and I am on a puter ALL DAY and when not doing that doing very tedious work with my hands. Been having that issue with them even working DOC says its the carpel thingy I mentioned above. Its not use it or surgery and I cannot do either.

agree that it might be carpal tunnel; I have that trouble. On my bike, I have a simple throttle lock that I use not so much for cruise control as I do use it to stretch out my right hand, fingers and wrist from time to time.

Got the same issues. Thinking new grips would be in order.

It's in my palm and fingers. No problem with shoulders or neck. I am right handed and I work in medical sales using computer a lot.

I've got the same problem old age, racing MX in my younger days, & being a blacksmith, all takes a toll. I just installed the ISO grips Curt takes about. They make riding fun again
