Have to go for ride and confirm but I'd say numbness is across bottom of middle fingers.
I've tried the medium risers - they are too close to me with the Mustang seat so I went back to stock.

What are throttle bosses?
its a flat piece of plastic that fits on the end of the throttle that lets you rest your palm to maintain your speed. On a kuryakyn hand grip it is the metal adapter that is also located at the end of the grip. If it is carpal tunnel, these devices will allow you to stretch your hand while maintaining your throttle speed..
throttle rocker
for kuryakyn ( throttle boss )

Been there bi-lateral carpal tunnel surgery at 26 my hands were numb 24/7. I used these grips on my V* and liked them took a little while to get used to but they worked great they are about as large in diameter as the ISO grips. Hope you find something that helps.

check out the cruise control option
Do you know if these will work with the VistaCruise throttle lock?

If the thumb pointer, and the middle finger go numb it's carpel tunnel, I have had surgery on both hands for this problem.
I now have the ring finger and pinky going numb which is caused by the ulner nerve that runs through elbow. One of these days I will have that surgery to fix that.

With me it's the thumb, 1st and 2nd fingers. And it's only on my right hand.

I got the ones with the built in cruise control so I don't know if they work with the vista. The built in CC is a threaded ring on the right grip that squeezes an O-ring between the end of the grip and the switch housing to hold the throttle in place. The only thing is there is a learning curve since with it engaged you have to manually close the throttle. After a while I got used to doing it and left it engaged all of the time so I never had to set it, the throttle would stay wherever I left it.
