Last weekend I changed the stock stage1 pipes for the VH Longshots, plus I added a 1 1/4" square plate at the end of the baffle, took the bike to work today (I think this could be the last day of riding this year )
This may be my imagination, but I don't think so, I seem to have way more power , SHE IS RUNING LIKE A RAPED APE .
and with the back pressure plate I get no backfire on decel .

I love this bike.

the longshots look great where did you get them and how much ? I can not find anywhere I would love to get a set. but not spend a lot

poohbear, I got them used (not too much) from one of the members on this forum.

FYI, the old style VH Longshots will fit just fine on the 1700cc bikes just fine, so the VH website is not correct.

thank for the infow will they fit the 1600 I have a 2001 xv 1600 midnight star that would look and sond so good with longshots
