I read an article about a guy who made an arc welder out of some old microwave ovens..ummmm

For a second, I thought you were going to tell us a story about how to turn an arc welder into a battery tender!! Now that would have made for some interesting discussion.....

Re:Battery Tenders 5 Years, 7 Months ago
I looked through the information I could find on the Battery Tender Plus and Battery Tender Junior......

Looks like the Plus goes through 4 stages verses 3 stages for the Junior. I can't help but notice the price for the Junior is about half the cost of the Plus. Is the extra stage worth the money?

Thanks again for all the input.

I don't think it's worth the extra money. My junior works fine. But I never used the 4 stage so........

Just a faster charge rate on the plus...0.75 amp versus 1.25 amp

Both are good...I have the plus... in case I want to use it with the higher amps charging and charge clips on my lawnmower batteries etc

Both are safe for the sealed batteries

I bought the Jr. and already have my battery out of the bike and hooked up. The Jr. went through a short charging cycle and is now in the storage mode.

Thanks for all the input!!

I bought the junior and it seems to work great, I intend to buy two more, one for my camper and one for the generator in my shop. Check JC Whitney price first. They seem to be the lowest price. Local bike shops charge about 30-38 dollars versus the price of JC. Buy when on sale.
