fork tins ? 6 Years, 1 Month ago
I have seen RS without the tins on the upper fork, does this require different trees to mount forks without tins?

The lowers are bolted to the lower tree with 3 bolts, one bolt on the outside of the tree. If you remove the tins you can see where the bolt attaches plus they are painted black.

Not very attractive IMHO.

You could grind off the attachment point and polish them up.

You can buy different trees and guys usually go to raked trees if they do this. My bike in the pic has 6 degree raked trees.
