So I can't stop searching for parts/accessories/etc on craigslist and local ads. It just happens, I'm sure most of you do the same thing.
Today I came across an ad for an 01. Guy says "will trade for anything, 4wheelers, tv's, etc etc." So it got me to thinking, I've got a pile of stuff in the garage, I'll shoot him an offer and see if he bites. There's a couple nice parts on that bike I wouldn't mind having on mine. Then I could use my current bike for touring and do something like bob or make a rat rod out of the other.
Idle minds, idle hands... Can't blame a guy for daydreaming, right?

It's an 01 silverado with 13k miles. Scrappy bags, but looks like it's in nice condition. Somewhere in NJ. I'd like the light bar and silverado windshield for my bike, as well as the rear fender if it's not cracked. Then I could cut up my rear fender and put it on there, fab up a plate mount and rear lights with the low shield, and get vanity plates that says 4him on that one and 4her on the bike with the rear seat/trunk.

There is a guy on c-list by me who wants to trade his roadie for a boat. But he is picky on what he wants, size, style,ect. And wouldnt you know it my boat is what he wants.... Its like the devil on my shoulder slaping me in the back of the head sayin c'mon you p____y do it and its another dresser with a hd fairing and bags on it so i could sell them for mod money (it would become a rat rod style bobber so alot of parts would be for sale  ) |

Do it! I mean come on, what are you going to do with a boat? It's just a boat. But a roadstar is a ROADSTAR, you can do limitless things with it, all of which are more fun than you thought possible as a youth. The R* is the reason you grew up. Now get out there and enjoy it.
