Re:Gas Leaking!! 10 Months, 1 Week ago
Ok here is the deal, I have 4 days for riding starting Tuesday. I work until 5pm, so I can't go get any 44k. The dealership is closed until Tuesday.

I found some carb cleaner at the local hardware store this afternoon and also found a service manual for my bike which includes carb removal.

Here is the plan-
Remove the carb and float bowl and clean, check the needle and seat and clean. Hopefully this will fix the leaking problem and get me on the road Tuesday.

UPDATE:
Well as so many times in life my trip was canceled due to circumstances out of my control. I thought what the hell lets try a good rich mixture of 44k. I have now ran 4 tanks of 44k through and it seems to have fixed the sticky needle and seat. While it is difficult to judge but I seemed to have gained a little bit of power as well.

Anyway I thought this might be useful for anyone looking to run some really good cleaner through their fuel system. 4 tanks of seafoam didn't do it so I'm sold on the 44k.
