Is this a plug and play kind of deal? I recently added a BAK and love the difference. Hooks right up and will raise you from 4250 to 4750. I think it's a good deal. I would say 500 RPM is a tad more than slight Just my opinion but anything higer than this and you are outside the power band anyway. Just tried to respond to the post, had to register and now have to wait 48 hrs. What do you think? it plugs straight in to the same connections as the standard one. apart from the raised rev limit, the programming of the ignition advance is better than on the 1600 unit, and the difference in the midrange is noticeable. if you can get hold of one, do so, as it´s one of the best cheap (if you pick up a s/h one) mods that you can do   Logged     be realistic - demand the impossible!   The administrator has disabled public write access. #54502 Jreed (User) Expert Boarder Posts: 533 Re:1700 ign module F/S 4 Years, 5 Months ago   I picked up a 1700 module earlier this year. Thanks to Musky. It does make a noticable difference in the mid-range like erizo says. Best cheap mod I have put on so far. I recommend it to anyone with a 1600.
