Mobil 1 V-Twin Synthetic Oil 4 Years, 12 Months ago
I've read a lot of posts touting the Mobil 1 V-Twin Synthetic 20W50 oil. So where do you guys get it? Been to two dealers and a few auto parts places and Wal-mart, too. Do you order it on-line or is there a chain retailer that typically carries it?

Thanks!

If you have an Autozone, check with them as well. I had one locally that carried it but they've quit stocking it but another one 10 miles away really likes it and said he'd continue stocking it, even if there was only a couple of us buying it from him.

Thanks,

I'll check the Super Wal-mart next time I'm visiting our daughter in PA. Will also look around a bit more locally. I really want to give it a shot.

OK, I found an Autozone that's only 12 miles from where I work, and they DO stock the Mobil V-Twin Synthetic 20W50.

Thanks for the suggestions.

That's good question Doc! (Super - Must be the American version of Wal-Marts?
Our Wal-Marts out here do not stock Mobil 1 20w50 V-Twin oil.
Only thing they do have is Tech 2000, and Castrol motorcycle oils.
I always find Mobil 1 20w50 V-Twin oil at the local Canadian Tire store.
Canadian Tire carries Amsoil Products too, as well as their own brand (Motomaster 20w50) motorcycle oil, but it seems that the Harley Davidsons around here like to eat it!
So the guys I know with HD's buy either "genuine HD" oil, Amsoil, or Mobil 1 V-twin, and they have much less oil consumption problems as compared to the MotoMaster brand oil.
You can use almost any brand of oil in a RoadStar, and it won't eat it. But it seems that HD's are very fusyy on their oil, and if it's not the right brand, they tend to drink it up through the piston rings! These are newer HD's with under 20,000 miles so they ain't wore out either. ???
