Seat mods 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I, like others, cannot afford to shell out hundreds of dollars for a new set of seats. At the same time, the stocker is killing me. I think it was on here that I read a post about a shop called Mean City Cycles that performs seat mods for a good price. I sent my seats to him and so far it has been a great experience. The owner is excellent about replying to both e-mails and phone calls. He told me 3 days to do the work and that's what it took. They are on the way back to me right now. I'll post again when they show up and I get to try em out.

You need to tell them that you have to make sure they are OK
in case you have to send them back.

Re:Seat mods 11 Months, 1 Week ago
Well I can FINALLY comment on how my seats turned out......

They are great. Looks were deceiving at first, as my rider's seat did not appear to look much different then when I shipped it out. Once I sat on it, I immediately felt the difference. It is much more cupped to fit me into it instead of on it. I rode for an hour and didn't even feel like I'd been on a bike when I got off. Big time improvement over stock for me. The passenger seat is now plenty wide and plush. Major props to Mean City Cycles for their work.
