If that's where it's supposed to be then that's where I'll leave it. Won't say I like it but I don't want to lose oil pressure. It just seemed strange that my bike idles at the speed where the owners manual says to shift into second gear.

If they designed it that way it seems kinda strange to me. And at a stop light my windshield bounces like crazy. So how hard is it to hook up a tach to the star and what tach do you folks suggest?<br><br>Post edited by: Musky, at: 2006/05/11 00:08

Subject: shifter mod
dvblair: Has anyone cut off the heel portion of the shifter? I never use it and would like to have the extra room. I would like to remove it but it looks like you would need a spacer on the shaft and I'm not sure ...
