Christmas Gift 4 Years, 5 Months ago
Yesterday was the last day of work before the holidays and we always draw names in the office. I was given a $30.00 gift certificate to the local Harley shop..

I was thinking what on earth could I possible get for my road* at the Harley shop. Then I remembered a riding buddy said they have the battery chargers on sale.

So I go in with my Road* hat, wearing it proudly as I always do, go back to the parts and accessories and ask about the charger. Well the lady that helped me ask what I was looking for and ask what kind of Harley I had. I said I didn't have a harley and told her about the gift certificate and my beloved Road*..

So I get the charger which was $39.00 and she told me they have a 20% discount on maintaince products this week, so I end up with a Harley Charger, yes it has Harley on it for $3.00. I just hope my bike doesn't feel rejected being on a harley trickle charger...

Too funny....

I was in our local Harley shop the other day to buy a battery tender and discovered they had both the "regular" or "Harley" versions of the same item. The difference? According to the sales person, the same item, but the "Harley" version comes equipped with a Harley sticker. I didn't ask how much the sticker cost since I opted for the "regular" version.

I got my Schumacher Battery Companion at Wallyworld last year for less than $18. 1.5 amps - 6 and 12 volts.

Hey two wheels is two wheels. I got a new pair of Haley harness boots. Got to admit they do feel good right out of the box. I like the tall tops for winter and the lug soles too. Got to admit the HD stuff does look good. I know that the HD reps are REAL picky about the HD toys we carry.

Nice of your co worker to get something that is of interest to you. I wear a pair of harley boots. Not because they say Harley but because I liked them and got them at a reasonable price on Ebay. I had to pick up a gift for the wife of a friend of ours this week. she wanted a Harley bike cover for their Fatboy, its a gift for her husband. I got it.. on sale for 109.00 bucks. Not any better than mine which I paid 39.00 for. I got tickled by "made in china but assemblied in america" sticker on the box. what did they do? sew the harley patch on it?
