Hey guys, just wanted to say how glad I am to find such an awesome site for the Roadstar. I just picked my 06' Roadstar Midnight up today and I am ready to start putting the mods to it! I just sold my VTX 1300 last week and stepped up to this bad boy today. So far I love it! I was a member of VTXOA, and learned to do numerous mods on that site, and expect even more out of this site by what I have seen already. So far... (8 hrs.) the bike is still stock, but I am seriously considering ordering the the V&H longshots HS in the morning. I am familiar with the V&H sound on the VTX, but have yet to hear any on the roadstar, but I figure as far as looks and sound go I couldnt go wrong with those bad boys! Anyone know who has the cheapest price on the Longshots HS? Cruisercustomizing has them for like $503.00 on sale. Is there a better price out there? Thanks guys.... im looking forward to sharing many posts with you guys!

New bike, 8 hours, already looking at goodies to add on, yup, right on schedule. A little slow but close enough. . I use CC as a starting point when I'm looking for something because I like to read the reviews to see what people think of the piece. But I have quite often beat even their sales price on other sites. So shopping around is a good idea. Or if you're like me and the place with the best price is out of stock I find someplace that has the piece and order it regardless of the price cuz I want it NOW. So the more sites to search the better. You can also try here:

http://www.denniskirk.com
http://classiccruiser.com/

CC is really slow right now. I've ordered a few things from them lately and it's been taking at least 17 days (10 days just to get the message from UPS saying they got the shipping info) to get stuff and they have been dropping the ball on listing things that are out of stock on the site so you know before you order. So if anyone is in a hury to get their parts they might want to look somewhere else.
