Re:what should i use on the chrome 4 Years, 1 Month ago
Hey guys, I use the Eagle One never dull on chrome. A can of this stuff will last forever. It comes as treated cotton in a silver and black can and 2, 2-inch squares will do all chrome and the front forks. Anyone else ever use this stuff? I'd like to hear other opinions on it, but it seems to be better than the Mother's or Turtle that I've tried. As far as the paint, I use a mild soap to clean and only wax to remove swirls and scratches on the tank from riding gear. I haven't tried the Amsoil stuff yet, but they make some good products, not as good as Lucas. I'd stake my name on anything Lucas puts their name on. I've used it in autos for 10 years and the wifes car is now pushing 300,000 and still has plenty of life left. I also used it in race cars I built and engines pulled down for a mid-season freshen(rings, bearings, and gaskets) were put back together immediately by the professional builder. He said he has never seen any engine with so little wear after taking the abuse we put on them. JMO, but I think Lucas works better than seafoam for SVS and isn't as hard on the engine.
