I've avoided this one. I got my 05 in October of this year with no miles on it. I got it at a steal with it being a carry over. Midnight Star, passing lamps, Silverado shield,Yami Back rest and bags out the door for less then 10,000. And that was after tax. I felt very good about it. I think the dealer did too with it soon to be 3 years old.

1999 insurance salvage, 2800 miles, with leather bags, long windshield, Cobra Pipes, fender tips, and sissy bar for $5500. Forks and front discs were damaged. I stripped off all the extras and sold them on eBay for around $1800. I used the money to make repairs, add LEDs and drag bars, and chop and paint all the tin on the bike.

$5000. I found it on e-bay and found that it was actually only 4 miles from me. It was lady-owned (kind of a big bike for a chick...she must have been a big girl!) and was being sold by her brother. I made an offer of 5-grand. He accepted and ended the auction early.

I was extremely happy with it all. My bike was stock except for V&H Longshots. It had less than 9000 miles and is a 99 model. I've owned it for two years now.

2000 MM Limited edition #1200 for 4800 of eBay. I was looking for a vStar1100 when my brother saw this one. 3200 miles with V & H longshots. Bought 3 months ago.

I got my 06'Silverado in Sept. of 06 end of year clearance. 10,500 out the door, added the extended warranty giving me 5 years of yami paying for anything a new helmet and first gear leather put me at 11,300.
this year added the pipes and air intake, almost 12,000 miles later no problem, except the Michigan weather has me parked, maybe the suspected snow will be rain and wash the salt off the road and I can take my New Years day ride.
