Gear Oil 4 Years, 1 Month ago
I want to change out the Tranny/Gear oil and looked for the recommended 80 API GL5 rated oil and cannot find it. I would like to know if 80W90 Gear Oil would work in the Tranny case? It say it is for manual Transmissions and Gearboxes. It is Valvoline Dura Blend 80W90 Synthetic Gear Oil. Can someone give me some input on this.

ultrastar: Is anyone planing on going to Star Days this year? its in Reno NV this year thats only about a 5 hour ride for me the last one I went to was in CO. a 2 day ride riding 80 + and 14 hour days
