A telling pic from my Colorado ride last September 10 Months ago
We complain when we can't ride for a couple weeks here in the south. This pic was shot of my bike the last week of September 07. It was 82 here in Ga. , by the time we got to southern Colorado, it was 36. 26 every morning. Here's what 26 looks like to a southerner! BB
(I was half way prepared)

Geez man. You don't carry a windshield scraper with ya? Just sit down. The seat will melt in no time.

looks like another fine day of riding to me. but then again I rode in 7 degree weather, 26 would feel balmy right now.

BigBear you need to get a sheepskin butt pad to keep the boys warm
when there's frost on the pumpkins

Let's just say I'm glad mine's garage kept here at home. Out there I had no choice, so it was what it was. Here my garage (and bikes) stay substantially warmer than the outside temps, so riding out from the house on a cool seat is much better than riding out on a frozen one! BB

Welcome to my world!!! You southern riders are big woosies .. It's supposed to get up to 45 this week. If my path thru the ice to the middle of the street is still there I'm riding. Of course it will probably be 20 for the ride home!!

Well, I'm not sure if I'm a Woosie or not (been called worse) , but it is a shock to ride out of the mid 80's into the mid 20's in a three day period. I do ride year round, but I will say, we don't have to deal with your temps and precip. very often, and for that I'm glad. OK, so I'm a woosie. BB
