I really don't know if it will be better than the Bridgestone that came on it (6000 miles worn out)......Really don't know if I got a deal or not ,but the stealer charged me $202.15 for everything (putting tire on,old tire disposal, and adjustments. Paid close to $225 for front and rear with free installation and balancing. I hope they ride great. I took my Star in for it's 4K mi. service (only 1K miles past scheduled but, I stretched the 400 to six... ) So, when the guys in the shop said I was ready for a new rear tire... I thought They were just trying to boost sales... I've heard nothing but good things about the Metz 880 and thought I wanted to go with it, but it seemed steep until I hear y'all talk about what your dealers want... My dealer offered me $175 minus 15% plus 1 hour for mounting and balance... For a Mighty Wide White Wall... I'm getting both installed and it will run me about $390 before tax ($140 + $160 + $90). They ain't cheap! One local dealer quoted me $178 to install, because the white walls are so hard to clean!
