I use a scissor jack..like the one Yamaha sells ....and the one on e-bay..but I got mine from some industrial supply house out west...can't remember which one

Scissor Jack

Yamaha Jack

GREAT in confined spaces ...jack handle doesnt require half the garage...sturdy and easy to use...

Got this awesome Sears Craftsman 1500 pound jack. Normally runs about $150, but I used my Ace Awards from work, so it cost me about $12. Can't say enough about this contraption.

This is the one I have too!

My Roadie sits on one all the time in the garage. I have a one car garage and so to get it and the Accord in there the Roadie has to stand upright, not on its side stand (yes, its that tight). Bought the 50 buck special at Kragen, works fine. Since we are in earthquake country I have a strap that is hooked to the wall and the Roadie. It's so tight that if it fell of the jack I'd never get it or the Accord out of the grage again!

I use the same scissor lift as Pop Rivet shows on eBay ... but mine isn't zinc coated and ran $48 + 31 s&h = $81.
