For me, Mark, it is both the style of the bike and the fact that it is new. I have the "new bike" syndrome and the Crossbones out of all the Harleys and yes, even Yamahas, caught my eye and really has my attention. No other bike out on the market has caught my attention like the Crossbones. You know how us guys are....once we see something we absolutely want, we find a way of getting it. I'm a bachelor with no kids...so what the hell, I think I'm gonna go for the Crossbones. Now, I just need to sell my bike so I can do this....lol

dvblair: Has anyone cut off the heel portion of the shifter? I never use it and would like to have the extra room. I would like to remove it but it looks like you would need a spacer on the shaft and I'm not sure ...
