Dealers are looking for people walking around with their butt in the air so they can hammer from behind and not even say I love you.

I know everyone needs to make money, but that's a joke. Sell your dad's raider outright. Put it in the Cycle Trader or paper. Some dealers can't keep these bike on the showroom floor. Here in Denver you'd be paying MSRP for one.

I sell all my bikes to the public. Then I go down to the dealer with cash or have loan approval first. I never buy the first time into the dealer and I always have two or three competeing for my business.

If a dealer tried to make a rip on me that hard I'd ask for a different salesperson. This throws them on the defensive.

The other thing I do is walki out of the dealership so they can't play the wait game going back to the manager everytime. I give them my cell number and I walk out teloling them I have an appointment. Once I have caller ID of their number, I never answer. I let them leave voicemail and wait an hour or so them call back.

No matter how horny I am for the bike or car I nver let on. I always have something wrong with the item. Usually color cause they can't fix that. I always pick a color they don't have in stock.

The truth is my last purchase went perfect. I found my bike with everything I wanted at a reputable dealer that I had done business with before. They shot me a fair price that on one else could touch. We shook hands and I left with the bike. On the fifth visit.
We only talked price on the last.

It was Vickery motorsports in Denver, and they were awesome to deal with.

Damn sorry for the run-on.
