Nope. 182.5 Mikuni is stock for the 1700's.

Ok ,what did I miss. I received the barons kit the other day and the jets are smaller than the stock jet? I have not been into the carb yet.
That will happen this weekend. I just want to be prepared. I will follow Barons suggestions then tweek the pms.
Still don't understand this jet size thing.

Use either the 170 or the 167.5 main. It's not just the size of the main jet. It's also the shape of the needle. It all works out.

I've got an '06 R* Silverado Midnight, ride it year round, and get 38 to 42 MPG day in and day out. All stock. No long trips to date.
