Cleaning White Walls 5 Years, 7 Months ago

Just finished thoroughly cleaning my 2005 Road Star yesterday and the biggest pain is cleaning the white wall tires. I used soap and water and got the bad stuff with a brillo pad. I've used the Westley's Bleche-White in the past on my cars and bought a bottle specifically for cleaning the motorcycle tires but noticed a warning on the bottle that it shouldn't be used on motorcycle tires. Anybody know why that is?
