Howdy, just found this forum yesterday, and I've already gained a lot of info.
I've used the Westley's Bleche-White on my 2004 Roadie Silverado Midnight Star with good results.
The WARNING on the bottle is two fold: First the Acid in the formula can damage the finish on Aluminum rims (Permanent spotting mostly) if its not wiped off promptly with a wet towel.

Second, the acid attacks petroleum products and breaks them down. (If you clean your tires on a Tar driveway, you'll see this first hand.) You don't have to worry about your tire desolving, but your tire has a certain amount of tar imbeded in its tread that Westley's Bleche-White will desolve and this can cause a slick film to remain on the tire until it disipates, or gets washed off.
