I joined the forum last week when I bought my new bike on Ebay (Almost There was the title in Introductions Forum). Well I picked up the bike yesterday and got to ride it some today. I got everything I hoped for and more. What an amazing ride. I am moving to this style from an SV1000 so I was worried about the switch from a sport bike. Well, I rode it about 70 miles today, my back feels great and the handling was a dream even in some pretty winding, hilly roads. I am way hooked. The Corbin seat the guy I bought it from is so comfortable. The Kuryakyn pipes sound incredible. I am so excited to make it my own, but not sure what I want to do to it. Any advice on Hyperjet? Thanks for making me feel like part of the group. I think I will be a Roadie fan for a long, long time!

yup its gona coast you some money now. if your like me in any way going from a sprt bike to the roadie. is great then you get this bug. you need more power, its needs to be diffrent then the other guys. and it needs more power, then you get this other bug telling you more chrome, lots more chrome, chrome is good. Then it hits you hard in the face saying, should have gotten this along time ago. welcome to the family enjoy and ride safe.

Congrats on finally picking it up.  Don't listen to these guys. There isn't anything saying you will go right to spending money on goodies. After I got mine I didn't start changing anything for 2 whole weeks. |
